Three-way collaboration for *collab-da featuring Literature-Traditional-Digital.

The Prose, by `Beccalicious is an adorable story about a goldfish Downside Up- prose and is the basis for the traditional work W I P II Collab DA by =Dark-elfa ~

My job was to finish the deviation in a digital format, blending the art onto a digital background and inserting the text in a storybook form (thus the use of the Storybook Font). I made the original background Collab dA background in PhotoShop Elements IV and awaited the traditional work.

Getting started on it two days ago on April 6th using PhotoShop Elements VI for the Mac, I erased parts of the background on the traditional work and enhanced the color saturation of the goldfish then put it through a sepia filter to fit in with the digital background. Brushes added to blend.

I copied the story and pasted it into Word and arranged each set of lines the way I wanted them to work in the finished deviation. I was able to directly copy and paste the heading but had to use the font within the program for the text. Text is colored and layer effects used for the final look.

I set up each prose section by `Beccalicious to allow it to flow throughout the background to set off the look of the story and coordinate with the main feature of the goldfish by =Dark-elfa and settle around the digital work.

Using a recessed framing after adding a plain edging I saved it importing it back into PhotoShop El IV for the final frame.

Background made in PhotoShop El IV but imported into PhotoShop Elements VI to make layers and blend in the traditional artwork and paste the story into desired areas.
