Daffodils in March by WDWParksGal Daffodils in March by WDWParksGal
So, it wasn't even spring yet when I took this picture but the landscaping already has beautiful daffodils in full bloom, along with green stems of tulips, sunflowers, forever somethings and other flowers, all well on their way to blooming. If it snows in the next few weeks, I may end up with a loss of a lot of flowers. Sunday I took pictures then walked into the house and snapped, "what is this, July?" The temps are in the eighties all week, which is really odd for NE Ohio. The temps must be 40-degrees above normal! :relax: Too bad the drive-ins aren't open yet because plenty of people would go see a double feature in such weather. I just hope this doesn't mean that this summer will have staggeringly-high temperatures :sun:

I do, too. Tina and Linda planted loads last year. Now there are tulips blooming. March has never looked so colorful in March :aww:

We gave you (and a few other places) some of our weather =D The highest it'll get here is 74 but we have been in the low 60s and upper 50s. Had a good storm recently too with rain and wind (snow in the mountains). Our apricots, peaches, and nectarines already have flowers and our peach tree has fruit! I have also seen baby caterpillars! :wow:

You must have! I am plenty used to having piles of snow in March, but having the air conditioner on??? :faint: This is totally weird. I've actually been able to get some work done in the landscaping and yard, picking up random trash that storms brought in over the winter, removing dead leaves from last year, picking up pine cones the tree dropped.... like two months early!!! Do you usually have a maritime temperature? Is there an ocean breeze that keeps LA cooler than it would be without the benefit of the ocean? When my Mom and Dad lived in Hawaii in the 1980s mom said the trade winds kept the temperature temperate enough to keep the windows open. She loved it there.
