Description
Am at Tina and Linda's, and yesterday a neighbor from up the street came down to mow and dig up Hastas for Linda. Well, the mower hit a stone and it flew up and made a hole in the lower, outside pane of glass, making it look like a Spider Web. Then for hours the pane kept making crackling sounds as the glass cracked. I have loads of pictures that will go onto the stock site =WDWParksGal-Stock
It is incredibly cool looking. Quincy had a look of abject horror on his face when it happened. I was busy taking pictures amazed that only the outer pane was affected. On my own door, a heat fracture cause the safety glass to burst making a mess all over, but this pane has held since yesterday, August 9th.

That pane cracked beautifully.
Reminds me of something that happened at our old lab:
We'd just gotten in that morning, when a friend said, "You have to check this out!", and led us into one of the rooms that held a glass-doored freezer. We walked in to find said glass door looking just like your picture. Nobody knew exactly what happened; when we all locked up the previous evening, the door was still intact. As it turned out, the extensive cracking was only superficial and the door held up well enough, so they didn't have to get rid of the freezer after all.
