Looks like a Storm Coming by WDWParksGal Looks like a Storm Coming by WDWParksGal
STOCK! Unrestricked.

Could not believe how dark this one cloud looked versus the other clouds. The barren trees nearly shook to the core of their trunks :giggle: ..... and it sure ended up being stormy that day!

This is such a pretty photo!
I've always just loved all the trees in Ohio, especially during the fall when they are all shades of colors.

The Maple in the backyard still has a lot of its leaves. It takes the longest to turn, too. It just looks beautiful in the fall... it looks beautiful in the spring, too, but especially in the fall!

The shadow of the Imperial star cruiser casts its pall. Nice shot! I could not resist the Star Wars ref. LOL

I remember seeing it in 1977 in Orlando, FL. over the Fourth of July weekend. I was visiting my Aunt and Uncle and my cousin said I just had to see this new movie! I had not even heard of it till then. Wow! What a jump in special effects for the time! It is still one of my favorite movies.

It really changed how movies were made. My husband and I were in Orlando that year as well. We had gone to a convention down in Key Biscayne for my husband's work and my sister was done with school in Kissimme. We drove back up there from Miami and waited a few days for her to finish up before driving on back to Ohio. Once there, Steve wanted to know if I wanted to go to the Magic Kingdom. I said, "oh, I don't know, do you think it will be any fun?" Famous last words!!!

I just opened the back door and took the picture. I was letting one of the kitties back into the house and looked up to see that dark cloud with a bright sky and white clouds higher up. I ran to get the camera because it just looked so odd to me. We have been getting some bad storms. It is so dark out right now it looks like it nearly sundown and not before 4 PM in the afternoon!

And scary. It looks odd to have such a large, dark cloud below bright, white ones :wow:

Looks like the stuff that hit us is an equal opportunist >< Reports are coming in about the storms hitting other states and still have a lot of power.

We are due to get a lot of rain. There is still snow on the ground after the last rain storm but doubt if any snow will be left outside of the "snowbergs" in parking lots. Think the storms have been heading this way!

Yeah and we are not out of the woods yet. Tuesday and Wednesday have more rain and so does the coming weekend. I'm still okay with the rain as long as it doesn't mess with my artwork. Have to go to the post office again on Monday.

It is so dark out now that it looks like evening. It has been windy and rainy for hours and hours. I should be seeing the sun outside my picture window instead of dreariness. I can hear the rain hitting the siding!

Yeah the cells that went through here were pretty nasty with the winds and rain. CA had 2 official tornadoes and 1 unconfirmed, hail, snow in the desert, mudslides, flooding, knocked down trees and all. I'm beginning to believe that you can get just about any type of weather anywhere you live. No place is single out for earthquakes or tornadoes. And Mexico gets hurricanes and if they push northward we could see some action someday.

Since we have gotten Earthquakes here I agree with you. There isn't any place safe from any type of weather
