Marianne and Elinor

Assignment for the *FanArtBookClub, to draw an event from the book Sense and Sensibility ~ Based loosely on Painting of Two Ladies Fresco by Araldo de Luca (the only reference I could find was [link] ~ if you look on this page of posters, it is down the list on the left ~ it currently isn't available so no large image is available), I drew Marianne and Elinor at one of the parties they attended while in London. This was before the party where Marianne finally met up with Willoughby and received the royal brush off.

The Fresco is on the cover of the book edition made especially for Barnes and Nobles. Thought it was a wonderful clue as to what the two Miss Dashwoods would have looked like.

Prismacolor Pencils and Berol Charcoal colors blue and red.

Framed in PhotoShop El VI and a color correction and filter since I had to take a picture inside the house without a flash.
