Secret Santa ~ Belle's Cast Member Party


This was made for :iconwhisperwings: *Whisperwings as part of the Secret Santa Project held by #DisneyDreamers :icondisneydreamers:

*Whisperwings said in her request she wondered what it would be like for the characters when the Parks closed; as if their lives continued long after the final guest left the park. The Background Story:

Belle hurriedly waved at the audience and took her last bow at the Beauty and the Beast Show at The Studios. She quickly turned on her heel and Beast snarled confusedly, "what is your hurry!"

Belle's quick retort was, "I promised to finished decorating for the cast party and I'm not done yet!"

Beast just shook his head and rolled his eyes. Pretty decorations, happy talk and silly people were not his idea of a good time.

Lumiere's eyes got big and his flame glowed higher, "I'll help you Belle!" She gave him a quick smile and a flash of a quick wink as she ducked backstage and towards the Grand Ballroom.

Once inside she quickly started to unpack the last box of ornaments. Ever the devoted "puppy", Lumiere came hopping in after her. Within minutes she finished the tree and gave the room a cursory glance to see how the decorations had turned out. Sighting an ornament that had rolled away, she picked it up, curtsied to Lumiere and said sweetly, "please good sir, would you be so kind as to give this lovely ornament a home of the tree!" Lumiere extended his candle to take on another ornament. He had already picked up a stray but would do anything for Belle. His smile simply lit up the room.

Shortly, Beast and Cogsworth arrived. Beast, looking none too happy to attend a festive party, grumpily walked into the room behind Cogsworth who with a jaunty bounce in his step, brought another ornament to Belle for the tree. Beast mumbled, I'm here but do NOT expect me to dance. Belle slipped out the side door to dress for the party. "Silly Beast," Belle thought, "he'll never admit that he cannot wait to open his gifts!"

Oh it's sooo lovely! I love how well the different images meld together, even in color tones. Beautiful work, thank you sooo much!

And the little story was superb :D
