The trees reach for the sky. Taken right after a cold front came through over Easter 2010. Landscape around the home of Linda ~Fubelle where Tina is living, too. Linda is Steve's ~armored-bear sister.

That is a shame. Too bad Rhode Island cannot send you some of their rain and that we couldn't have sent you some of the horrific rain and snow we got this winter and spring so far :hug:

That would be amazing to live around and visit! Sadly much of the brownness in our mountains is coming from drought and the after affects of the bark beatles to some degree.

I do understand. Ohio has a lot of "green" spaces and loads of pines that are green year-around. All along the highways there are a bazillion pines that grow quickly. We have a pine on each side of our house. This is at my sister-in-law's house and her property is rugged like this and quite beautiful.

It makes me happy to see some green in the forests. Not that we don't have any out here, but the mountains can still be quite brown in places.
