Saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at Elm Road Drive-In located in Niles, Ohio:

In itself it was an awesome movie, albeit at least 1/2 hour too short. Too much of the book, the longest one of the series, was truncated. The special effects were outstanding, even though the final fight scene was practically rewritten for the movie. In this case I am a book purist, ergo, my opinion is that too much was left out and not enough screen-time was given to major characters like Malfoy, Snape and the Order itself, especially Tonks, introduced in this movie. At this point I hope the DVD is a Director's Cut, which will add scenes to a too short, but fantastic movie.

Harry has indeed shown maturity, albeit his temper has a short fuse, and Daniel Radcliffe does justice to his performance getting this point across to the audience. It is my perception that Emma Watson over-emotes, but I was happy when she spoke normally without added outward signs of disapproval to other characters. One of the best scenes was the Court Hearing for Harry when he had to defend himself against the Ministry of Magic. It was cool to see the inside of the Ministry and all the different types of beings wandering around inside.
