Castle-of-Manips
What a great collection of artwork submitted for this challenge! Really gave the judges a hard task selecting the winners!
FIRST CHOICE:
Autumn Equinox
by
This entry has such a lovely, misty feel, as if the scene may only exist in the ethereal world, which fit with the description of the work which states:
"The Autumn Equinox marks the arrival of Fall. Day and Night are in equal length, reminding us to balance both the light and dark within ourselves leading to a still and centered connection within the very core of our being."
SECOND CHOICE
Don't Look Back
by
It certainly is a mystery why anyone would want to enter such a spooky place with a huge "Caution!" sign warning people to stay away! The fog-covered castle in the background could be the reason to try and get through the labyrinth to find a way there. The skull on the ground is a nice touch. That guy didn't make it too far!
THIRD CHOICE:
Mystery of Dragon Gate
by
The Artist has seamlessly created two worlds which are very different. The story that goes with the manip really informs the viewer of what's happening in the scene. Also, excellent choices in models and landscapes; well blended.
Honorable Mention:
The Guardian
by
Lovely working of a poignant tale. The additional elements to create the faery child are well blended and add the sense of "magic" to her. Nicely done work.
