Interview with the Ringmaster!

  

PurpelBlur and I "met" shortly after he got his dA account. It was an instant friendship. He and my daughter, AreteEirene and I became fast friends and dA buddies. We have never looked back. As part of Project Educate, I would like to share with the community, an interview with PurpelBlur

You are the Ringmaster, and will forever be known as such: Please tell the community how you got the name and what it means.
When I was first becoming a Gallery Director (later Gallery Moderator) it was decided that I'd not have a specific gallery to look after and there should be a name to define this post. moonbeam13 and I brainstormed on it for a bit but it was lolly who thought of "Ringmaster". I helped the team in any way possible, hosted contests and challenges, and did what I could to promote community.

How long were you the head of Projects? Was there a reason you stayed so long?
I believe it was for about the last year of my term. I stayed because, simply, I truly love and enjoy being a part of this community.

What was the most interesting thing about being a volunteer for Projects? Least?
Most interesting was discovering holidays I have never heard of prior and then learning about them. I can't think of anything least interesting specific to the Projects gallery.

Did you have a lot of dArama as Projects CV?
Not very much. However, people would get relatively upset if a certain holiday was missed, but I did what I could to fix that.

What advice would you give to a deviant who would be interested in becoming Projects CV?
Have fun with it; don't worry about messing up. If a project/event/holiday doesn't exactly jive with your beliefs be willing to, if not embrace it, learn about it and share that knowledge. Be as unbiased as possible. Oh, also, have fun.
